A Subaru WRX/STi has been my dream car since middle school. When I got my license I started making money off of buying cheap project cars, fixing them, and selling them for money. I’ve had a supercharged Cobalt SS, an all-white Mustang, and even a Cavalier I did racing stripes on. Within 2-3 years, I’ve saved enough to start looking for one. I found this one in the neighboring state, and went on a roadtrip with my friend and girlfriend to go pick it up. I knew it had an engine swap but never looked up the engine that was put in until the day after I got it home. I thought it was just a standard replacement, but to my amazement, it was the WRX STi engine from the 2000 STi. I plan to keep this car for many years to come, and my vision for this car is fairly simple, but will take a few years to make perfect.
