This car came along when I was only 14, and it was by complete chance that it did. My father works in a local dealership and a older lady came in one day with the wagon, bone stock at the time, and it had a few small, but fixable issues. It had 91,000 miles on it, and spent most of its time sitting under it cover in a garage. The lady spoke of selling the car, due to its issues, and my father quickly offered her 300 dollars and the ticket in which it was in the shop for (which was only like 100 bucks) and it was sold right then and there. Many people don’t believe we got such a good car at such a low price but we did. What makes it funny was that at first I didn’t even want to keep the car, not seeing its full potential, but a quick google search changed that entirely. And 4 years later, we still own the car, it’s my first car, my daily driver, and my project car, all in one. It now has 142,000 miles, and it’s been a trooper the whole way.
